Bif&st-Bari International Film Festival (March 25-April 2) – under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic, promoted by the Puglia Region and the Apulia Film Commission and directed by Felice Laudadio – will confer the Federico Fellini Award to the filmmakers of Ukraine.
The award, agreed with Francesca Fabbri Fellini, heir to the great director, will be delivered on the evening of March 28 in the Petruzzelli Theater to the Ukrainian director Daria Onyshchenko who will become ambassador to her colleagues. Onyshchenko will present her film in Bari in the same afternoon,
Zabuti (The Forgotten), an intense and engaging drama about the tragic situation in Ukraine. The Bif&st initiative will also see the involvement of the University of Bari which, with its University Center of International Law, will organize a meeting on Ukraine on the morning of March 28, starting from the documentary film Winter on Fire by Evgeny Afineevsky, Oscar nominee in 2016 after being presented at Venice Film Festival.
